2019 Friday — Great Granddaughters

Our granddaughter Desiree posted this photo of the girls today on her Instagram, so I asked her if she would send it to me and she did.

Little Emillia Leigh “Em” was born February 3rd and we haven’t been back to see them since she was 1 week old. She has changed so much. Little Jade seems so grown-up and not baby-like at all. We’ll be with them again the last weekend in April.

We had a lovely walk on the shore this morning. It was good to be on the sand. We have not been on the sand much this past winter because we’ve had an enormous amount of rain here. All of the local creeks are still pouring onto the shore and difficult to walk across. So we’ve done more walking in some of the local parks.
