WOW - WAR sTOrY

Before leaving Nelson we fitted in a few more activities including a visit to WOW, the World of Wearable Art & Collectable Cars Museum. Great to see a couple of Morris Minors but one exhibit impressed more than any. The main Blip is a shadow cast by the display. My first extra shows it in full. It is dedicated to the Kiwi soldiers of WW1 and how the modern generation would deal with the memories brought back. The soldier was covered in toy soldiers and poppies.

Tanya invited us for coffee and cakes before we left. A wonderful host and guide, many thanks for everything. ;o)

A made a brief visit to Miyazu Gardens where the maples had started to turn then we moved on.

We are now in Havelock looking forward to a special trip tomorrow. It doesn’t involve my last extra...
