Another day in December
I love this picture as it shows the bond between Oscar, Bailee and Maple. According to the twins, Bailee is the pretty one, Oscar is the handsome one and Maple, pretty and Cute!
We love our afternoon sessions down at the park. I take a towel along and lye Maple on it. She looks around and coos. Sometimes I join her there, sometimes I play with the twin's. Oscar and Bailee come back and forth to sit or lye beside Maple.
We made salt dough this morning in my fantastic Kitchen Aid mixer. I then tried to do hand and foot prints with my three kids. Bailee, as usual, was really into it. I great prints from her, she tried really hard. Oscar was more interested in the texture and pushing his hands and feet as hard as he could into the dough, thus making a hole. In the end we only got a hand print from him! He tried only once to eat the dough. Maple wouldn't unclench her fists so I just did her foot print.
The mess afterwards was incredible, but worth it! They got cooked in the oven for three hours. Next step is to paint them!
Still haven't done all our Christmas shopping! Things just seem so technically impossible when you have three under three and have only been in the country for 4 and a half months and only had a car for two weeks. There were only 4 people that have got cards from us. All sent via third party or by Stu when he went on a work trip back to the UK and used our old local Post Office!
Today was a rare day where everything ran smoothly, the children were all extremely happy and I felt almost in control! May there be many more to come!
