Cataract Gorge Launceston

Today we travelled into the city to their main tourist attraction. We had been before in the early 90s so wanted to return and have another Devonshire Tea. Yum.

The area is a real mix of old and new, natural and man made structures, native and introduced species of plants. It has the longest single span chair lift in the world, a 1904 swinging bridge, old and new cafes and young and old visitors. I rather liked the three young mothers out with their babies in the extra. Weather was perfect again after a few rough days.
