Kerikeri, New Zealand

For those of you who don’t know where you had followed me to I am in New Zealand, enjoying the lovely area of Kerikeri. My main Blip is part of the local Waharoa (carved entrance way) to Kororipo Pā just down the road from our cabin.

My extra is of the Stone Store, part of the Kerikeri Mission Station next to the Pā and is one of the first places in New Zealand where Māori invited visitors to live among them.

Today was a lazy day so we have just explored the town and the subtropical gardens that surrounds our cabin. Tomorrow we go to sea!
