Will I get the shot?

I saw the roadrunner coming in the yard and went for the camera with low expectations. To my delight, it was posing on the rock. Took a few shots through the window...no good. I slowly opened the door while blocking Bunker from running out and fired off a few shots before it took off. Mission accomplished.

Since it has been two sunny days in a row, I decided that a trip to the nursery was in order. Spent the rest of the day planting what I brought home. Tomorrow the forecast is rain. At least the flowers will be watered in naturally.

I am grateful to have my hands in the dirt and seeing color in the yard.
