Royalty

On a hot day in Alicante we took the lift to the Castillo de Santa Bárbara, which has tremendous views over the city and beyond. There was a group of people in historical costume, who spent all the time we were there sitting around drinking coffee and having a fag. Noblesse oblige, I guess.

Later, I enjoyed a walk along the beach and the harbourside, watching people doing the usual things such as staring at phones, juggling footballs and walking on tightropes.
