Mirador de Cuenca
Two great walks today. This morning, up a steep, rocky hill to the Cerro Socorro, to look down on the old City. This afternoon a longer walk around the limestone gorge of the valley of the Rio Juca. Some even steeper climbs to fantastic viewpoints, although not as steep as some were attempting.
Earlier, we visited the Museo de Arte Abstracto EspaĆol (which probably needs no translation) which included works by Fernando Zóbel, the artist who founded the gallery. A fantastic use of some old buildings - the Casas Coldagas or Hanging Houses, built in the 15th century and used for the Museum since 1966 - and seen here at night.
