We went for a very enjoyable walk in Ruckle Park on this glorious sunny day. The wind was chilly but it was warm in more sheltered areas. I hoped that there would be some lambs out, but they must have been in the barn. Had to settle for one of the turkeys that roam around. Impossible to get any to stand still, so not the best photo. When we were leaving, several of them followed us up the path, protesting loudly because I think they expected us to feed them.
Extras: awful photos but I wanted to record this. During the windstorm in December, a lot of trees were blown down in the park. This one lifted two huge rocks up that were at its base. The root ball in the second one shows how little soil a gigantic tree need to grow. Very shallow roots on sheer rock under the thin layer of soil. Amazing. I'd seen the tree and rocks before but didn't take a photo.
