Inside the box!!

The lining is paper from a pack of Art Nouveau designs that I bought at the Physics Garden in London.

I sometimes use fabric, but chose paper as it fitted with the design on the outside of the lid and the the embroidery which will be inside.

The trickiest thing was cutting the paper to match the design. I’ve used wallpaper paste to attach the paper to the sides and have attached the base to card from the back of an A4 note pad.

This morning we headed over to R’s to hang the clock, but it’s not ticking yet as we don’t know how to fix the pendulum!!

The composter had a stir and more leaves, food and shredded paper were added. The temperature inside has risen considerably, looking good!!
