Skater boy

After our busy day yesterday we decided on a rather more relaxing day today, so took ourselves off to Southport for a few hours.

Glorious blue skies and yes, dare I say it, warm sunshine....crazy weather really, but so lovely!
We werent up too sharpish so just grabbed a cuppa before leaving home. We decided to pit stop for an early lunch in Tastebuds at Rufford was the order of the day.

Once in Southport we parked at the theatre and took a walk , up the peer, sat in the sun for a while, walked back, chatted to some keen bikers parked up at the fish and chip stop at the other end of the peer......some beautiful bikes on display!! Reminds me, I want to ride on the back of a motorbike sometime, sooner rather than later......might have to have a word with our neighbour ;-)

We clocked up 9k steps before hibs knees started to give him some stick, so we stopped for a coffee in Costa before heading back to the car.

Another quietish night in for us......hubs still suffering, but I am getting there, I think!
