Belated & Today Birthdays

A day of birthday related things today.

Its hubs birthday today and middle son had booked his driving experience at our local racing track today. It was his 40th birthday present back in September from all the family and something he has been looking forward to!!

Unfortunately two of the cars he had chosen werent available for one reason or another, but on the plus side, he gets to go back in a couple of months to drive those, and will be more familiar with the track and "go for it" even more!!!

We all enjoyed the buzz of the track, seeing all the cars, from Aston Martins, to Chevrolets, to Kit aka Knightrider and even a Batmobile!!!

Todays blip shows middle son in each of the three he drove today, a Mustang, a Cobra and an Audi RS......the latter being his absolute favourite, that is, until he gets to drive the Lamborghini in June!!

From the track we nipped back home to get changed for lunch together to celebrate hubs birthday.......the food at Miller & Carter is always really nice, everyone enjoyed I think as there was nothing left!

Then we headed into town to our local micro pub, the Twisted Vine...or as hub calls it "the Hanging Ivy'!!!!! for more drinks. We all said our goodbyes around 5 and went our separate ways.

Its taken me a while to work through all the photos taken today, there are a couple of extras of all of us, one at the track and the other after lunch.

A rare adults only family day out ;-)

We still havent had anything else to eat since lunchtime......not sure I will last until bedtime though :-/
