Dunham Deer Park

Such a lovely day, sunshine more or less all the way........the car told us it was 17 degrees as we drove home this afternoon!!!

We failed in our attempt to make it three wins on the trot at the quiz last night :-/

We were up later that planned this morning, so decided to skip breakfast at home and head straight to Kenyon Farm shop and cafe, bought the things I needed, then we had brunch in their cafe. Scrambled eggs & smoked salmon on toast for me, egg and bacon barm for hub, with two cappuccinos of course!

We drove on to Dunham Massey to walk off those calories. Boy was it busy, being half term and all........had to drive around to find a parking bay!

We headed away from the crowds of young families and walked the periphery, coming across a whole herd of deer literally cutting over one of the footpaths, which enabled me to stop and take lots of shots. I remember snapping this shot in particular and thinking it might be good because of the light coming through the trees.

We got our 10k steps in around the deer park and the gardens, before heading to the Stables for a coffee, hub had a slice of cake, I resisted! I have added a couple of extras today too.

We called into the garden centre on our way back home, had a nother look at the Summerhouses, we are still not quite decided on which one of two.....but getting there!

There is a homemade lasagna in the oven, as we have middle son DiL, Oliva & Isabella staying over with us tonight.......they will be here shortly, so getting my blip uploaded earlier than usual ;-) Don't think we will get a lie in tomorrow morning ;-)))
