Play date

We were supposed to be visiting middle son and family today, but DiL wasnt feeling too well, so Son, Olivia & Isabella came to see us instead.

We spent a fun few hours, the girls playing with toys that have been played with by all our granddaughters over the years, watching tv, playing on the ipad and sneaking into grandads chair when he got up, as you can see here lol!!

We had lunch at home, not great for SW, it consisted of chicken fillets, sausages, french fries & garlic bread......not a vegetable in sight :-( we did have fruit & yogurt for dessert though ;-))

They left us mid afternoon to go and check on mummy, after we had all tidied up ;-) Olivia left her tiger with me, as he needed stitching, to stop his stuffing coming out......I asked if she was sure, as it might be a few weeks before I can bring him back, she said " its ok grandma, Ive got lots of other teddys" :-))

I chucked a chicken in the oven for dinner later........we had hoped to get out for a walk but the weather turned nasty again, pouring down and blowing a hoolie so that didnt happen :-(

We had a chicken roast dinner for tea, and have spent a very lazy evening, to follow a very lazy day, sat in front of the tv, so not many steps to speak of today either :-/
