Little lodger

As planned our visitors arrived yesterday evening, daughter dropped them off, whilst middle son took his older girls back to their mums. Both Olivia and Isabella were tired after their busy day playing with Emily and were soon in their pj's snuggled down and fast asleep before son was back. The four of us sat down to enjoy the lasagna Id made for tea. Son is struggling with a cold, and hasnt been sleeping too well this week, whilst he has been on holiday from work, so they both turned in before 10pm. Hub and I had an hour the. called it a day too, knowing only too well the girls would have us up early.

Neither of us slept well and Ive woken up with a sore throat and runny nose, which has developed over the course of today :-(

We were all up by 7 as they needed to leave by 8.45. Tea and toast breakfast, Isabella had a banana as well and Olivia had some weetabix.
Todays blip is Isabella in her carseat ready to go.......another pretty little thing :-)

We have spent most of today doing various. chores that needed attending too.....not least my talk for camera club on Monday. Im doing a presentation on Tenerife, 150 photos and talk to fill best part of an hour and a half!! Hope I feel better than I do currently come Monday :-(

We have had a chap round this afternoon to talk about cutting back some of our trees and shrubs. They need doing before we start any work re the summerhouse. Hub has emptied the greenhouse and cut the lawn.....we need to remove the glass and dismantle it tomorrow as the tree man is coming back Monday.

Weve just had liver and onions, with mash, cabbage and green beans for dinner.....not everyones idea of heaven, but we enjoyed it ;-)

Just about to watch The Voice. ow...think we will be early to bed tonight.....might have to have a hot toddy first though.
