Butterfly

This butterfly was on the wall of the 
mid-century stall at the antique centre.
There is such a lot of work in it - so many different embroidery stitches. It was mostly done in wool spirals but also embroidery silks and some metallic thread and beads.
Whoever made this was a very skilled stitcher.
