WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

Memory Lane

We went to Lord's Antiques and Salvage Centre in Ingleton today. We both love mooching around in such places. The stall in the photo deals with 1960's - 70's housey stuff. Much of it reminded me of my parent's house when I was growing up.
Mum was a real trendsetter; our house was the first in the street to have purple curtains! Her pride and joy was the teal coloured three piece suite with egg shaped swivel armchairs.
I'm proud to say that although I saw a few things I really liked today, I didn't buy anything as we have been minimalizing for the past two years and I don't want to bring more stuff in to the new house as it is a lot smaller than the old one.
I did like the Ercol chairs - bottom right - but they were £125 each!
