Trip to the Tip

We've been to the tip in Settle. It's become a regular outing for us with all the house renovations, sometimes twice a week. 
At first it was the previous owners rubbish from the cellar - loads of it! Then it was the old carpets and lately it has been bags of plaster and rubble. 
It's always a busy place and I am amazed at how the skips are always full with new loads of rubbish.
A lot of people must throw things away rather than take them to the charity shop or try to fix them. 
Consumerism rules!
