Lindau, Baveria

We have had another amazing day, crossing borders into Germany, Switzerland and Baveria. We’ve seen more beautiful snow covered mountains and visited a schnapps and honey business in the forested landscape of the Bregenzerwald.

Then to the Bavarian port town of Lindau, situated on an island in Lake Constance. My photo is by the waterfront where the lake opens into its widest part, with a small harbour. An old town with many beautiful colourful buildings (my extra)

Our return journey took us through Bregenz the capital of Vorarlberg, the furthest west province in Austria.
