From Chur to Arosa

....and travelling by train from 600m to 1800m. It was so beautiful! Deep snow, terrifying ravines, mountain deer, fast flowing streams, and plenty of very happy skiers and snowboarders at the top.

We took a walk round the frozen lake and watched ducks make the most of where the thaw had begun, diving underwater and looking generally excited that their habitat was making a return. My extra shows the frozen lake. We had a coffee and strudel on the outdoor terrace of a coffee shop and roasted in the sun.

A truly beautiful day! The driver took us home through Liechtenstein and then back to Feldkirch and our hotel. Tomorrow promises more delights!
