Diary of an Edinburgher

New look

Bike. JR had a 10am fitness session at the gym. Becky texted to say she wasn’t feeling well, so Archie missed out on his morning walk - but no worries, he had an afternoon walk with Annemique. Lucky pup.

Got the washing hung out and dried. So far so good, we haven’t had to rely on friends' driers. Archie LOVES 'helping' to hang the washing out - when I mention it, he charges to the back door in a state of high excitement. He goes absolutely bonkers trying to catch the yellow washing line, which of course, I flick around to keep it away from him. It’s a wonder there aren’t concerned faces at all the windows around the back garden, thinking maybe there was a viscous dog fight happening.

When Archie was out, we got the fire on and caught up with 'A Place to Call Home' the Aussie drama, which is quite ridiculous, really, but as it's set in the 40s and 50s, there are wonderful cars and fashions.

Big day tomorrow - the beams are going in, so then the walls can come down. Big noise and LOTS of dust. JR will have to make herself scarce...

Here he is with his new haircut. Much smarter.
