Everyday I Write The Book

I’m very into it at the moment. We hung a big Kandinski in our newly decorated front room yesterday, and also have the little Bonnard we bought a couple of weeks ago. Today we went to Wisley and although most of it was soil and green shoots there were some lovely splashes of colour, including stark yellow bamboos, red reeds and green and white snowdrops. The weather was stunning; almost warm, blue skies, crisp shadows.

We did quite a long walk, doing our best to avoid the four wheel drive buggy brigade who were taking their kids to see the Lego animals in the glasshouse. Skipped refreshments but left terse feedback cards complaining about the lack of vegan stuff in the cafe, then went into town to order some glasses for me. This was relatively painless (apart from the cost) and we also managed a trip to get some veg and cleaning materials.

A leaking bag slung over the shoulder caused fabric conditioner to trickle down my back and into my underpants. For a while I probably had the best smelling bum in Woking. TSM was more interested in her vegan sausage roll; it was the first time she’d had one hot from the oven and she was in a near ecstatic state by the time she’d finished it.

Good day.
