A Team of Merricks

Merrick times five, plus the cute little guy that was guarding him all day.

One of the main reasons I came home to the frozen tundra was to watch the little man play basketball. And, play he did.

He is much improved from last year. He played defense, grabbed a few rebounds, and I think he scored 12 points on six baskets.

It is a different brand of ball. Since the other team cannot steal the ball, whoever gets the in-bounds pass simply dribbles down, and usually attempts a shot. I think they are a year or two removed from being able to see the pass and make the pass.

Still, it was fun to watch our little guy, and we were real pleased with his sportsmanship.
