Skywalk

I've spent another day at the hospital with Rachel today - she's doing fine and the baby is staying where it should for the time being. It's still a little early for it to arrive, but with the bed rest and care she's getting, hopefully she'll be fine a little while longer.

On my way to the hopsital this morning I called into the Trafford Centre to do a little shopping. It could only be a little as I'm flying home with Ryanair with hand luggage only, but as mum flies out to us next week, I left some things with her to make room in my case :-). It was lovely to have a wander round the mall and see the Christmas decorations, and I picked up a few things that Rachel wanted.

It's been a long time since I've been there and I was amazed at how much it had expanded - there is a whole new section across the road! I took some photos of the Christmas decorations, but I really like this shot of the skywalk over the road. I didn't have time to cross over to the other side but did manage to get the things I wanted.

Anyway, I'm now at Manchester airport waiting for my flight home. I've done a little bit more Christmas shopping in duty free and am now enjoying a nice Italian meal with a glass of wine. I don't get home until late, so I'll catch up with you tomorrow.

I'd like to thank you for all your comments, stars and hearts for my 300th blip yesterday - it hit the spotlight!
