Beach Art

It's been a very mild day today and Louis & I had a lovely walk this morning, over the hill into Rottingdean, down to the beach, and back along the undercliff walk.

I then went into town to meet my friend Barbara for lunch, but I went a little earlier so I could do a bit more Christmas shopping, and I also went back to the beach to blip the sculpture, whilst framing West Pier, that I planned to do yesterday. Anyway, I got my shopping done, met Barbara and we had a lovely lunch at Bills, where they had some unusual Christmas decorations which were real Christmas trees, hanging upside down from the ceiling!

After lunch I had a couple of other things to get in town and then went back to the beach to watch the sunset. I thought I'd try and get the same shot but with the sun setting in the frame as well as West Pier. I got a nice one of the sun going down by the Pier, but by the time I got to the Sculpture it had almost gone, and I prefer the original one in the sunlight.

I can't believe that today is actually my 666th consecutive day of blipping - where's that time gone?
