Memories

I spotted this poster in a restaurant.  Unfortunately the light was bad and I couldn't get a good image.  However, this did bring back memories of traveling from London to Brighton by train to meet my hubby who was working there.  I got a motor coach from Blackpool to London and then took the train from London.  My actual journey was to Gatwick, however we lived close to Brighton, so the memories flooded back.  This advertised the journey as leaving London at 8.45 am and arriving at around 6pm.  My journey took around an hour, it did however cost at bit more than 15 shillings.  It was also over 30 years ago.  A lot has changed since then.
