Jaisalmer Fort

Ok it’s not the best picture in the world but this may be one of the best forts badly photographed.

It’s never been captured and it’s been in many battles .

Home to 4000 people of the ruling and warrior class,  unless you know different, it is part of Jaisalmer , population 100,000, and here because it was on a trading route... and had water, and still here.

A well balanced city in the middle of a desert.

We had a great guide here and that makes you love it.

We watched the sun going down from the city wall and watched musician caste performers and were particularly impressed by this very young musician accompanied by his father , see extra, singing his heart out.
