Sunrise 08.45 whilst walking!

We dropped the car off early at the Renault garage to have its computer reset and took Elvis for a walk whilst it was being done. He had a good long walk for about two hours until we collected the car and came home.
We have permission for a two day bonfire, so we got started on that, and later, on checking the chickens, we have one poorly girl. One of the black hens we bought last Monday looks very ill. She has isolated herself and is very sad.
In the evening we popped into our local for a quick drink to numb the pain, as we had to attend a Brexit meeting at our Mairie! I was amazed at the number of French people there and how animated they were. There were approximately two thirds French, one third British and one German!
Mr F was asked to prepare a presentation, which he did and answered questions/refereed the discussion, and translated into English where necessary. I don't know that we're any the wiser, but we know that the French are very passionate about arguing the subject. It soon became political but the mayor stopped all that, and the French reassured us all that we had nothing to worry about as residents!
