A bonkers sight in Saintes.

As it's Wednesday, I dropped Mr F off at the AVF and walked Elvis around town again. We crossed the river Charente and walked up past the Abbé aux Dames, exploring the backstreets that side of the river for a change.
In a small street, very near the centre ville, we saw two peahens and a peacock, who all looked very disappointed that the couscousserie had closed down!
They hung around for a while, and sauntered off down the road, causing traffic chaos, and Elvis and I walked on.
