Jazz Concert

We are just in from a 2 hour jazz concert , that was very special. It was outdoors, and the scene behind where we sat is the first extra. It was a magical setting!
The music was all from the American Song book...just fabulous. It was put on through my U3A group...and looking around , there would have been no one younger than 60 years old there! We all took a picnic tea and wine and enjoyed the talented musicians, the leader (on the flute) is a member of our U3A. The musicians donated their time.

Earlier in the day, Frida and I had a great walk by the Hawea River (2nd extra). Met up with my photography friends for coffee, and then 2 friends holidaying in Cromwell drove through to visit.
Another super day.
