Here we go again

While we’ve been back in the house for just over 3 months a few things still remain to be sorted. Until we’ve completed them I’m not starting a snagging list.

The underfloor heating is not functioning as it should: it heats up but has a mind if it’s own at times.

Some electrical need to be resolved.

And we have some issues over decoration. The contractor arrived today with a decorator and said to him: do whatever they want. A good start!


The office consisted of an induction meeting with some relatively new clerks in Local authorities who support our local volunteer managers and panel members. We were helped by a longer serving clerk. Lots of discussions!

Also lots of reading ahead of 2 big meetings tomorrow and processing appointments and thank you letters to those who have decided to stand down - one after 28 years volunteering! The commitment of so many people over so many years is humbling.
