Waning

I had an unanticipated urgent trip to North. Berwick this morning. All fine but took up most of the morning.

As I stopped to phone on my progress, I saw the moon in the sky with the rising sun silhouetting the line of trees. Wants not sure if it was a new moon or not but Goggle sorted me out.

Back home in time for afternoon meeting with architect. Suddenly all the plans over the past year look like coming to fruition so my few days leave starting Wednesday are well timed as lots of tidying (and trips to the tip) will be needed. (In these PC days should that be “trips to the recycling centre”? : It’s increasingly hard to know where to draw the line!)

Spent much of the evening listening to the gales and rain outside while reading papers for tomorrow morning and drafting notes. Took a break to watch the programme on the coronation which had some interesting facts new to me - some also new to Her Majesty!
