There are four resident herons in Schull harbour, during the quite of the day, they can be found sunning themselves on secluded rock ledges or resting on one of a number of small fishing boats. I think they look quite comical on board with all the fishing paraphernalia!!
After work we had an invite to a celebratory birthday supper, lovely food, good company and it's always a joy to see our teenagers together, they have known each other since they were babies and they are all very bonded now!
