Goldfinch

The day was cold and dreary, so not in the least bit inspiring to be outside. I took the opportunity to get on with researching my family history. I'm at quite an exciting bit now as my ancestors on one branch of the family were descendants of the Ingelby's of Ripley castle in Yorkshire. So I think a visit might be in order next time I'm across the water!
So my blip is another one from my bedroom window, from where I am recording the different birds in the garden. This is the very handsome Gold finch.
