Airport Boredom

We were up early this morning and on the road to Zurich by 6.30am. It was dark and snowing, so there were no opportunities for photos. I had hoped to get some sunrise shots but the sun only rose after 8am and as it was snowing there was no sunrise.

Here are the boys waiting to board the plane - everyone was feeling tired from the early start and the boarding was delayed due to the busyness of the airport, and then once we boarded we sat on the plane for well over an hour and departed late. Still, I managed to finish my book in that time so it was not all bad.

Then the usual post holiday frenzy once we got home - unpacking, laundry, opening post, collecting Murdoch from kennels (he was fine and looking good), off to the supermarket to stock up the fridge and then quite a bit of admin for my arts society events for next term. I suddenly realised it is supper time and the day has run away with me.

Thomas is out at a black tie 18th birthday party tonight, Luke has gone to meet some friends for supper followed by an evening of poker at one of their homes, and Adam is at home just chilling. Gavin and I are about to start watching the final episode of Luther! 

It is back to uninspiring photos after the photographic opportunities offered by the beautiful Swiss Alps. I did not do much skiing this trip but I have come home with some photos that I like.
