Xmas and Gridlock

Snow, Cold, Ice, Lights and the inevitable Gridlock

It took me 2 hours to travel the very short journey home. A little bit of snow and ice and our country comes to complete Gridlock. This happens time and time again - how come they manage in Switzerland and Norway?? This was a view from the bus stop - I was about 234 th in a very long queue of very stoic shivering commuters.

Minimal grit, me thinks, and more Council cuts! Let's just get used to it. Tomorrow - I will not bother with the bus and will walk. If only I had a team of pet Huskies! I wonder if I can get 'ice tyres' for my bike? A look at the 'Wiggle' website coming up :)
