Big Ben

...still wrapped up, a bit like a Christmas present!

We’ve had a very happy day with the family; all 8 of us together and very soon to be 9. After a lovely dinner we went for a walk to the park where many other families were doing the same. Milo, the newest member and just 12 weeks old, did double the mileage on his lead and enjoyed making new acquaintances.

We took the scenic route home, Edgeware Road and Westminster Bridge. London was full of lights and life on this first day of the year. We passed Hyde Park and Winter Wonderland incredibly illuminated. So much to see and try to capture from the car window! The Eye looked amazing!

The journey there this morning was totally different. Traffic-free roads and open spaces ahead. Never known that before!

It’s been a very full and happy Christmas and New Year. Lots to remember and treasure.
