From Now On...

From Norway....

Esmée has been sledging and already been sizing up a pair of skis once belonging to her mummy. They have had a wonderful new year with Andréa’s family, and it’s looked really beautiful with lots of snow.

We got up late! Almost 10 o’ clock! Plans to visit the Gingerbread City in Somerset House and maybe watch the New Year Parade quickly changed when D spoke; he’d developed a very dark brown voice, and a heavy cold. So we’ve been at home all day and it’s been good. I tried really hard to finish my long overdue Blip for our two days in St Petersburg but although I’ve selected photos, it still remains to be done. I’m much nearer than I was which is great. We have ordered a full cover for the MGF though, to winter it. So much moisture collects through the soft top over damp days.

Oliver is enjoying his skiing trip but looking forward to being back home. Sophia had her pj day today. And we’ve booked tickets for Saturday to see the Gingerbread City. A very different but good New Year’s Day. I was going to take the tree down but that became a “tomorrow” job. The lights on the small tree have been lovely in today’s dull weather.
