Sugar Frosted Berries

Sorry to disappoint, if you were expecting some yummy dessert ;-)

This morning found the garden covered in a hard frost. At this time of year most of mum's back garden get's no sun at all, the garden is to the North of the house and the low sunlight never reaches high enough to reach the garden. There are also large trees south of the house so the front garden doesn't get any sun either!

This picture was taken at 13:50 and as you can see the frost still had not melted, so the air temperature must have stayed below zero all day (at least out of the sun).
