Music in the Grassmarket

Today was St. Andrews Day so there were a number of events and special offers around town, one was live music at the Grassmarket, I arrived just in time for the tail end of the first band (who sounded quite good) and then had to hang around until the next band was ready, my dodgy leg was really bad yesterday and standing around in the cold did not help much today (I'm getting old!), but I stayed for a while until the sun had disappeared below the roof tops and I was too cold and achy to stand around any longer.
