Sunshine and showers (Day 1320)

It was nice to wake this morning and not hear the wind roaring outside. The calmer weather made for a more pleasant wander up the hill with the woofers than it has been over the last few days.
At home later my beautiful wife got on with paint stripping. I am getting fairly bored of stripping paint. After lunch, we took the dogs across to Stromness to check on the horses and have a wander along the shore. It was good to see a bit of sunshine, even as a brief shower left spots of rain on the camera lens.
We returned home to a bit more DIY. I did filling and sanding and sploshing of undercoat, whilst HV did some more paint stripping.
