True Grit

The snow didn't amount to much overnight, but the drive was very slippery with black ice underneath it, so TJ went out with some salt and grit to make it safer to walk and drive down.  Then we decided not to go out after all:-)

Lovely sunshine earlier on, but it gets dark so quickly now that it doesn't last long.  Extra shows the sun on the beech hedge, which really was that colour!
