Wrapping Things Up

Dear Diary,

I finished wrapping the Christmas gifts, here is a small selection.  I make the gift cards out of parts of last years Christmas cards.  I know most people find wrapping a chore but I like doing it.  One Christmas season, seems like 100 years ago, I worked on Saturdays at the Jordan Marsh store in the gift wrapping department.  For a small price, you could have your purchases wrapped.  Mostly, it seemed, it was men who took advantage of the service.

Today, the last of the cards will be written and then one more trip to the post office.  I can then relax with my classic Christmas movies and think about making Christmas cookies.  No last minute panic for me!
