The Owl.

I am on catch up again! I have no idea how I manage to get so behind! Anyway today the weather has been rather drab on Exmoor so Mr Tbay suggested that we head for the Maritime Museum at Appledore . We set off in rain but when we got to Appledore it had reduced to an acceptable drizzle! After a lengthy purchase of our car park ticket which had to be done by phone as we realised neither of us had a bean change wise we head3d for the Museum only to find it was closed!! Not what the website had said for today. Grrrrrrr! Anyway we headed back to the car which had been parked for all of 5 mins!

After a discussion we decided to head for the RHS Gardens at Rosemoor which proved to be a much better idea. The weather was much better by then only drizzling a little bit. We had a lovely walk taking in the glorious autumn colours. There were also quite a few sculptures on show throughout the garden and this was one of them. I rather liked it!

After a late lunch we then headed back to Exmoor via the Darlington Crystal outlet at Torrington.

Another excellent meal in the evening in the bar finished off a fun day.
