Beautiful Exmoor.

The colours this year are just fabulous. Everywhere we have been the atumnal shades have been so vibrant. Our friends the W’s took us on a guided tour of their farm and this is part of it. The far side of the valley however is not. It is a spectacular part of the moor at about 1300 ft and on a clear day you can see Dartmoor and out to Lundy Island as well as Barnstaple and the estuary just beyond.

As always their hospitality opis second to none and after a delicious lunch I felt the need to examine the insides of my eyelids which I did very successfully!

All too soon it was time for another delicious supper, this time home produced lamb which was scrummy. All too soon it was 11:00pm and time for bed!
