Hever Castle

I’ve had a lovely morning at Hever Castle with Kate who invited me along as she’s a member and was able to take a guest in for free.

It’s was rather cloudy and half way round the lake it came to rain quite heavily, but it didn’t dampen our spirits - which is more than I can say for my clothes and me feet lol! My coat couldn’t take the rain - note to self not to wear it in the rain again!

We took shelter briefly at a Chinese pagoda on the edge of the lake and then made our way to the castle, when typically the sun started to make an appearance. We had a nice lunch in the cafe and now I’m about to drive to Suffolk for my weekend with Christina, so I thought I’d do a quick blip and run. Thanks Kate for a lovely morning!
