Dappled Light

I had to be at the hospital for 9.30am for my MRI scans - they did my shoulder first which took 30 minutes and then it was a further 40 minutes for my head, so I was in the tunnel for quite a while!    Anyway, it's done and I see my oncologist on the 19th for the results.

On my way home I stopped off at the beach as it was high tide and it was very windy again so the waves were crashing. I couldn't stay long though as I was taking Amanda, one of the ladies I've got to know through the Brighton Skies group, to Sheffield Park.  She lives in the centre of Brighton so caught the bus to Rottingdean where I picked her up.

The colours of the trees have changed since I was there a few weeks ago with Alan, and the reds and golds were particularly vivid.  The highlight of today's visit was the dappled light shining through this tree, I love the long shadows.  We had a lovely afternoon finished off with a hot chocolate and a cup of tea in the cafe.

I was booked onto the zumba class tonight, but I'm tired and my back aches (as well as my shoulder), so I decided not to go.  I've got a long drive to Suffolk tomorrow as I'm going to visit Christina who's just finished chemo and radiotherapy for breast cancer, so I thought it was better to have a relaxing night tonight.

I've got a little behind on commenting again, and  I'm staying at Chris' until Sunday, so I probably won't get much chance to catch up until I'm back home - Sorry!
