Friends Reunited

After a morning walk around Woodbridge, Cliona arrived to meet us for lunch. The three of us all met when we lived in Belgium and over the last few years we’ve all moved back to the Uk and kept in touch. Cliona lives in Saffron Walden so it was just over an hours’ drive for her.

We went for lunch at Chris’ favourite pub, The Dog at Grundisburg, and the food was amazing and such good value at £12.50 for two courses.

We sat and chatted, reminiscing about Belgium and when I looked at the time, it was 4pm! We couldn’t believe how quick the time had gone. Cliona has to head back as she’s going out tonight, but we’ve said that we’ll meet up in London in the spring.

We’re back at Chris’ now and I’m not sure what the plan is tonight, but I’d be happy just to have a relaxing night in seeing as we’ve been out all day, and I’m driving home in the morning.
