Oh look! There is the Bossess plane
Oh dear, early start but when I was offered grub before the B's had finished theirs I didn't refuse. Well you wouldn't would you? It appeared that she had to fly out of Queenstown and didn't want to leave her car in the airport car park so we went with The Bossess, The Boss and his camera bag of course over the Crown Range (must blip this sometime) into the Queenstown Basin (must blip this sometime) to drop her off at the airport. (Nah you all know what airports look like). Then down to the Queenstown Gardens for a couple of loops around the perimeter for today's outing. It was a bit chilly in Queenstown and The Boss was forced into Hot Chocolate and a Ginger Crunch thingie that although it was Gluten Free (not The Boss's usual choice) was delicious "cos it contained the entire NZ import of sugar for 1 day AND real bits of ginger too. I sat in the car and watched through the window. Disgusting!
Queenstown is New Zealand's premier tourist destination (must blip this sometime) and lots of our friends in Wanaka are very pleased that it is. All the razzle dazzle and crowds are on their side of the hill. It can be a challenging place to visit if you have a car but there are a few secrets that The Boss knows which help with this and the gardens are always a nice visit where dogs are allowed (on leads).
You can tell by the picture that The Bossess would have had a bumpy takeoff as her plane came towards us climbing and turning North on it's way to Auckland. I didn't see her waving. Sigh
Extra Curly?
