Ripley

We all went to watch Mr P run in the Guy Fawkes 10 mile race at Ripley Castle a few miles north of our village.
While he ran we had a more leisurely walk then drinks and hot food in the village hall.
Just time to walk back to the castle courtyard to see Mr P finish and find out he had won his vet’s category, beating the last year’s winners time by seven minutes!
Now home and making dinner for six as Tim and Adele are coming to pick up the boys.
